My xbox 360 takes a while to download 500 mb files from the marketplace, can i safely download old games?

I don’t want to lose my points if the game has such a huge file to load, is there any chance this could happen? or would the file just take twice as long to load?
(I want to download old games that have about 1000 mb of memory)

It’s just going to take a long time that’s how game’s are.
you wont loose your points if your download quits in the middle or something like that. and if for some reason the game doesnt work once you get it, you can delete and re-download for free anything you have payed for.
About the downloading, copy and backup service: There are serveral sites providing such download services. They are very excellent on the contents, not only Complete big XBox 360 games like Metroid, Super-Mario and Guitar Heroes etc. But also many movies, XBox 360 tv shows, music and videos much more!!!
All you need is to join one of those sites to download so many resources. So you can download all those media as you wish!
And some sites can provide simple software help you to burn the ISO Games into DVDs, it is very easy and fast. After the instructions by them, you can go ahead to play those games you burned onto your XBox 360.
