Download Xbox 360 Games
i have the game assassins creed for the xbox but my nephew tipped over the xbox and the game got a perfect circle scratch, i took it to blockbuster and they cleaned it and it works up to the first part of the game then it takes me off the game and says
1.clean game with a soft cloth
2.restart the console
so can i download it to the hard drive even if it’s scratched a little?
PS: how much memory will it take up form my hard drive?

It should take about 5GB of space.
Install the game if it will let you. Hopefully it can read all of the data since it is scratched up.
Once installed, make sure the game disc in in the tray and then play.
The 360 will not give you any CD errors since all the data is already stored on the HDD. The game is played off your HDD and the only time the 360 will use the disc is at startup to verify that it is in the tray and that you have a physical copy.
You will always need the disc if you plan on playing even if the game is stored on your HDD.

Even if you install it to your hard drive it will still ask for the disc so there’s basically no point.
Installing it to your hard drive just makes the game launch faster and there’s no hassle putting in the disc. Lots of people think you can hire games and then install them to your hard drive, but even if you do install them it will still ask for the disc. Thats why people mod there Xbox 360, it’s called flashing your hard drive, where you can play games which are installed in your hard drive and it won’t ask for the disc.
So I recommend not to install it.

IF you can get it to download past the scratch you’ll be fine, you just need the game to verify.
UNFORTUNANTLY, you got the perfect scratch from moving your xbox… sorry but 99.9% of the time your just SOL…
Advice.. KEEP YOUR XBOX LAYING DOWN!!! Idk why you people insist on keepin it up… its not like the Wii or Ps3 where you can flip it in the air with a disk in and be fine… Just lay it down!!
