okay so lets say i download and xbox 360 game and burn it to a cd. then i play it offline so i wont get banned or anything, but i get a bunch of achievements, and when i go back online but on a different game. could microsoft tell that i got those achievements from a downloaded video game or tell that i played them????

I heard that you can do it by going onto Xbox Live and downloading it off of there, or you can just pop the disc in and it will read the CD and basically rip it right off of the CD onto the harddrive. Also, i heard that it is better to use the harddrive with singleplayer or split screen, cuz it’s faster, but then it’s best to use the CD for online multiplayer, cuz it makes it slower using the harddrive. Is that true. And, last question, can you choose whether you want the Xbox to play the game off of the harddrive or the CD?

I want to play xbox games on my 360, but i went to download the update needed for backward compatibility and the microsoft link never works, its always down, i cant download the update coz no other file service has the update, can someone please help me out, all i want to do is play San ANdreas
